Vacancy:
Solar Installation Electrician

Area:
Cape Town and Surrounds

This position will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of solar panel systems ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.

The position will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships, and to promote customer retention satisfaction.


Main Tasks and Duties:

Installation, repair, and maintenance of solar panels whilst collaborating with the project manager on projects and business initiatives. Co-ordinate and oversee the flow of services or products to the customers. Implement strategies to reach new customers and achieve new sales. Establish and maintain relationships with current and new customers. Travel in the Cape Town and Western Cape surrounding region.


Requirements:

1. 5+ years' experience in solar panel installations

• Proven track record in knowledge and experience in solar panel installations and solutions
• Valid Electrical license
• Solid understanding of photovoltaic systems
• NABCEP Certification preferable
• Valid Driver's License
• Own Vehicle
• Reside in Cape Town

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems, wiring and components.
• Collaborating with the Project Manager on projects, business initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct Electrical Assessments/Inspections
• Monitor the progress of sales
• Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential customers.
