Funtion:


Healthcare Environment looking for a experinced marketing Practitioner Events

  • Responsible to arrange and coordinate corporate events for Medihelp.
  • Obtain quotations and prepare submission for approval.
  • Compile event specification guides.
  • Prepare submissions for venues, catering, décor and technical specifications where needed.
  • Ensure that appropriate branding/gifts are available at events where necessary.
  • Keep all interested parties up to date with arrangements.
  • Responsible for travel and accommodation arrangements for all marketing personnel.
  • Coordinate and organise golf events including guest lists, invites, catering and décor.
  • Exercise control over approved budget.
  • Compile a calendar of scheduled events.
  • Appoint suppliers for key services.

Requirements:


  • A relevant three (3) tertiary qualification.
  • Four (4) years relevant experience as an events coordinator.
  • Must have a valid driving license.
  • Exceptional computer literate in Ms Office.
  • Knowledge of the following:
  • Procurement policies;
  • Budget process;
  • Medical schemes Act;
  • Schemes Rules;
  • Branding process.

Must possesses the following skills:


  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans;
  • Good interpersonal relations;
  • Focus on details and quality
  • Selfmotivated;
  • Organised;
  • Adaptable;
  • Must be able to handle stress
