    Job Description

    The ideal candidate should have previous experience in both sales administration and in-person sales settings.

    Key Responsibilities for this position include:

    • Generating sales through in-person, email, and online methods.
    • Providing customers with quotes.
    • Guiding customers on stock quantities and quality for their projects.
    • Coordinating transportation arrangements as needed.
    • Handling administrative tasks.
    • Managing stock in the system.
    • Creating invoices.
    • Managing payments from cash and credit customers.
    • Following up on overdue payments.
    • Completing additional duties as necessary.

    Required qualifications/experience:

    • Proficiency in numerical accuracy.
    • Effective communication and organizational abilities.
    • Product knowledge is advantageous.
    • Outstanding administrative skills with attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with safety procedures and best practices.
    • Strong computer skills.
    • Prior sales background.
    • Experience in coordinating stock loading.

    Proficiency in English is vital for this position, with a minimum educational standard of Grade 12. All appointments are made based on merit, and candidates not meeting the specified criteria will not be considered. In accordance with the company's employment equity goals, priority may be given to candidates from designated groups as per the Employment Equity Act. Please be aware that occasional Saturday work will be necessary.
