    Description

    RPO Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specializing in finding top talent for the construction industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Architect to join our client's team in Cape Town.

    As an Architect, you will play a vital role in the design and development of various construction projects. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and other professionals to create innovative and functional designs that meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects, contribute to the growth and success of our client's firm, and showcase your creativity and technical skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Create architectural design concepts and develop detailed plans, drawings, and specifications
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget constraints
    • Prepare and present design proposals, including 3D models and renderings, to clients and stakeholders
    • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design feasibility and compliance with building codes and regulations
    • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and monitor construction progress
    • Oversee the selection and procurement of materials and finishes
    • Review and approve construction drawings and documentation
    • Provide guidance and support to junior architects and drafters
    • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architect, preferably in the construction industry
    • Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software, such as AutoCAD and Revit
    • Strong design and visualization skills
    • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
    • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Attention to detail and accuracy

    Benefits

    • Salary: R720K/yr - R600K/yr, negotiable
