    This is an excellent opportunity for an IT RISK SPECIALIST to gain large scale IT risk management and cybersecurity expertise working for Africa's LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP. Gain expertise strategizing large scale risk resilience as the Company expands the scale at which they cater wealth management solutions internationally.

    This IT RISK ADMINISTRATOR opportunity is based in CAPE TOWN (HYBRID) and paying up to R450K Per Annum.

    THE ROLE:

    As the IT RISK SPECIALIST, you will provide critical 2nd line oversight of IT risk management and Third-Party Risk management activities, to optimize various technology platforms and shared services, ensuring security resilience in a very complex data environment as Africa's LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP expands the scale at which they cater wealth management solutions across Africa.

    You will be responsible for audit assurance, compliance, process automation, risk acceptance processes, and report while working closely with critical stakeholders in to identify, assess, and develop key mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.

    THE REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Relevant Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Accredited Risk/Security Certification OR commercial experience in Information Security
  • At least 2 years' commercial IT industry experience in Risk Management
  • Strong experience in IT Audit and Assurance
  • Strong experience using Microsoft and Risk Management Platforms such as Cura Barnowl, & BWise
