The
Strategic Fuel Fund Association (SFF), a subsidiary of the
Central Energy Fund (CEF), manages crude oil storage facilities in the Western Cape, and environmental protection against oil pollution.

SFF currently seeks to employ a
Risk Manager at its Parow Office, Cape Town Western Cape.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on all key commercial and operational business projects to ensure effective identification and management of all risks.
  • Monitor and report on all business risks across all divisions through risk registers.
  • Track progress made on mitigation plans and escalated overdue tasks to risk owners.
  • Prepare and circulate monthly risk reports to business unit managers and them risk profile performance.
  • Develop and implement Risk Management policies and procedures.
  • Manage and execute Risk Management Strategy in SFF
  • Develop and implement Business Continuity Management governance framework that is consistent with policy, legislation, and industry practice.
  • Implement and manage annual insurance renewal process.
  • Liaise with underwriters and/or other outsourced service providers to ensure assets are adequately insured.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in risk management/Finance/Engineering/Business Administration
  • Post Graduate qualification will be an advantage.
  • At least 10 years Risk Management experience
  • At least 5 years in Middle Management
