    Title: Financial Systems Implementation Specialist (FinTech Industry)

    Place of work: Pretoria

    Reporting to: Head of Treasury Technology

    Focusing on becoming a Financial Systems Implementation Specialist whilst drawing on your Accounting skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Systems & Technology and enjoys the thrill of Solving Complex Problems.

    The focus is to carry out implementations of Treasury Management Systems & Solutions to a niche market and provide support to existing clients. Empowering CFOs and their teams to transform how they activate liquidity as a dynamic, real-time vehicle for growth and value creation, while also protection against financial risk. Pioneering Active Liquidity Network connects internal applications for treasury, risk, payments and working capital with vital external sources such as banks, ERPs, trading platforms, and market data providers.

    About The Role:

    Join a dynamic team of Professional Services individuals who help client's gain more control over their treasury, risk & liquidity operations, and processes. The Implementation Consultant is responsible for leading the design, implementation, configuration and training of the various modules and functions within the TMS application. You will help our clients make strategic & informed decisions that help automate processes, reduce inefficiencies & optimize opportunities which can potentially help their bottom line. While becoming proficient in the tools and systems, you will acquire deeper knowledge of treasury systems and risk management methodologies. You will have an opportunity to take on interesting and challenging assignments and work across industries and geographies. You will be involved in project work, business development and other activities including personalized trainings, to help you grow as a consultant.

    Duties Include:

    • Work with your manager to develop a personalized training plan for growth to learn new skills & modules
    • Lead solution design workshops with customers
    • Deliver the solution design document (Blueprint)
    • Design and deliver innovative solutions based on the client's business requirements
    • Configure & test solutions/workflow in the client database for various modules
    • Assist customer in testing phases prior to go-live and provide go-live support
    • Lead training sessions and create custom training agendas
    • Lead meetings and drive issues to resolution
    • Serve as a Subject Matter Experts (SME) for resolution on complex designs and solutions
    • Apply TMS Implementation Methodology and Project Management best practices to all client implementations
    • Ensure all tasks and deliverables are completed based on project plans and progress is tracked in project management software
    • Ensure timesheets are entered accurately and on-time

    Experience & Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree (Finance / Investments / Economics)
    • 5+ years work experience preferred in corporate treasury, treasury management system implementations, professional services or other relevant accounting experience
    • Knowledge in the following functions is a plus: Cash Management & Forecasting, Connectivity, Payments, FX Exposure Management, Financial Transactions, General Ledger, Financial Accounting, Hedge Accounting, ERP Integrations & Risk Management
    • Exposure to ERP / Financial Systems / Treasury Management Systems an advantage
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and Analytical
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and enjoys coming up with innovate solutions
    • Critical thinking and out-of-the box solution approach
