    FUND OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR Century City, Cape Town

    R R40 000 Per Month Negotiable based on Qualification and Years of relevant experience

    Our Client, a reputable Investment Firm (Infrastructure Energy) is currently seeking to appoint a Fund Operations Administrator to join their dynamic and growing team of professionals.

    One would describe you as being a numerically inclined problem solver who has the ability to analyse complex information whilst identifying risk. You have strong data management and research skills, with a high attention to detail.

    You are a highly articulate, self-motivated professional who has a committed work ethic, drive for excellent and the ability to perform well under deadline pressure.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Degree or diploma in Commerce, Business Science, Finance or related with strong problem solving and quantitative underpinning
    • Minimum 3 Years Investment Administration, Fund Administration, Financial Management, Compliance Operations gained within the Investment / Fund Administration / Financial Services arena
    • A proven track record of leading the administration of transactions in the unlisted/private markets sector
    • Proven proficiency on MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) in particular MS Excel
    • Client and stakeholder relationship management experience preferable
    • RE5 certification preferable, but if successful, the candidate must attain this in first year of working

    Key duties and responsibilities: -

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Manage professional stakeholder communications (written and verbal)
    • Draft and/or review and issue monthly Fund statements and investor statements
    • Draft and issue quarterly investor statements
    • Draft and issue Fund reports and communications
    • Co-ordinate stakeholder meetings and conferences
    • Interface with key stakeholders on ad hoc communications
    • Support capital raising processes and initiatives
    • Support investor enquiries (written and verbal)
    • Review all operational DDQ and RFPs
    • Attend and present on all operational onsite DDQ
    • Maintain accurate investor records and process investor changes
    • Assist in the processing of routine fund operations, including investor calls (drawdowns) and distributions
    • Assist with all aspects of the administration of funds

    Financial Administration:

    • Administer payments processes and payment instructions
    • Load payments on bank for authorisation
    • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain fund bank transactions schedule.
    • Support financial administration processes and rhythms including annual budget, audit, tax and reporting
    • Administer financial processes and online banking profiles
    • Manage FICA requirements on bank accounts
    • Maintain accurate internal fund statements, drawdown schedules and fund performance data

    Legal and Compliance Administration:

    • Coordinate the signing, filing and storage of electronic and physical documents
    • Coordinate legal administration and regulatory compliance related matters
    • Support annual compliance rhythms and certifications
    • Coordinate compliance reporting and communications
    • Support the administration of legal agreements, opinions and registers
    • Ensure FSCA compliance submissions and requirements are met
    • Ensure Fund partnership and investor side letter compliance submissions and requirements are met

    Administration Project Management:

    • Project Manage the finalisation of fund annual financial statements
    • Project Manage the finalisation of fund valuations
    • Understand operational policies and procedures
    • Coordinate and support ad-hoc projects and initiatives
    • Suggest improvements to administration and operations processes
    • Implement improved processes
    • Support IP development and knowledge management
