Description

My client, the DA, seeks to recruit a committed, dynamic, self-motivated and results driven Senior Provincial Finance Manager in Gauteng. The successful incumbent will report to the Provincial Director with an indirect reporting line to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities:

Working in close collaboration with the Provincial Director and Chief Financial Officer to ensure the financial sustainability of the Province
Effectively managing the following practices and processes in the Province:
Financial budgeting
Operational financial management
General accounting and transactional financial oversight
Financial reporting
Auditing and financial governance
Cashflow management

Requirements:

National Senior Certificate or equivalent
Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting required, with completed articles advantageous
Minimum of 3 years' financial management experience
Knowledge of accounting, financial management and auditing
Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational abilities
Systematic, comprehensive, and displaying excellent attention to detail
Commitment to the values, principles, policies and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance
Outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
An ability to work effectively and energetically around a demanding work schedule
Willingness to go the extra mile, which include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays, where necessary
