    Job Offer:
    Event Coordinator – beBee Professionals, Pietermaritzburg

    beBee Professionals is looking for an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of events, from conception to completion.


    The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement event plans, including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal requirements, and budgets
    • Coordinate event logistics, including catering, transportation, and accommodations
    • Manage event staff, including volunteers
    • Monitor event progress and make necessary adjustments
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements
    • Evaluate event success and submit post-event reports

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or related field
    • 3+ years of experience in event planning and management
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Knowledge of event planning software
