Thembisa Ngubelanga

I hold a Bachelor's degree as well as an Honour's degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Marketing Management.

I have worked in marketing for 3 years going on my 4th year and I'm still loving every part of the journey of growing within the field. I love a good challenge and am very much interested in spreading wings over international seas to see what this field is like on a global platform.

In my most recent and current role as Junior Brand Manager. I have gained experience in coordination of social media plans in line with brand plans and communication strategy. I can do a 360 plan for a brand including touch points such as digital media, instore POS, outdoor media, ecommerce and rewards app. I have been coordinating brand activations for in store, mall and events for the past 3 years. I have been involved in photoshoot planning from concept to completion. Budget management has also been a huge part of my life for the past year from raising purchase orders to reconciling the budget monthly. I pride myself in my ability to work cross functionally with other departments. Time management, multitasking and organisational skills are my strong suits. I am a very calm under pressure and am a pleasure to be around. I am huge team player and can reliably work independently, with the right amount of guidance I can make anything happen!

I studied at the University of KwaZulu-Natal where i qualified for a Bachelors degree in Marketing and Supply Chain Management. I then went on to complete an Honour's degree in Marketing Management in 2017. I am now completing my MBA at UKZN Graduate School of Business and Leadership.
