About Stephanie Ineke van Niekerk:

I am a MA psychology graduate from Stellenbosch University, with over seven years of experience as a research assistant for various universities. As a driven and highly motivated individual, I take the initiative to step in where I see help is needed; I understand the greater picture of completing a task as a team, on time, and to the highest standard possible. 

My greatest strengths are my flexibility and my eagerness to learn. I am comfortable with trying new things and stepping into tasks that I am unfamiliar with by doing my homework and networking with my colleagues. I do not consider any task to be beyond me and I am determined to expand my skill set and knowledge in all areas of research.
 

 

 

Experience

I have worked for Stellenbosch University, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, and the University of the Western Cape.

I am skilled in quantitative and qualitative data collection (recruitment, data collection, database generation, data capturing, interviews, transcription, planning and conducting workshops, and article writing). 
In addition, I have experience in creating online surveys/questionnaires, creating research project codebooks, and administering SCID-5.
