I am a professional candidate look for a job and work experiences. I have a degree BA Cultural and Heritage Tourism management, this is a field of study which focuses on various aspects of local cultures and heritages and other implications of it's development as tourist attractions, it draws on economics, arts and crafts, languages, museums, architecture, history, human geography and other disciplins where are centrally involved with the heritage industry and Tourism. I was sensitized to current debates in this field of study where heritage extends beyond historical sites and artefacts to include the environment and contemporary cultural practices. My objectives is to enhance my professional skills, capabilities and knowledge in an organization which recognizes the value of hard work and trusts me with responsibilities and challenges. To work in an environment which encourages me to succeed and grow professionally where I can utilize my skills and knowledge appropriately. I have worked as a Beach Steward under a learnership provided by Wildlife and Environmental Society of South Africa Tourism Blue Flag Project for a year and 5 months. My duties were to monitor the sea, ensure water quality is always updated, collect surveys on beach users, and report inhumanely inattentive acts. We do beach clean-up and do educational events on the beach. We ensure the safety and cleanliness of the sea and keep it user friendly. We work hand in hand with the Lifeguards. We worked with local, domestic and international tourists. I have First Aid Certificate, Health and Safety Certificate, Tourism Guiding Certificate. I’m a hard working person with strong work ethics, i can easily adapt and i am reliable and a fast learner

My duties were to monitor the sea, ensure water quality is always updated, collect surveys on beach users, and report inhumanely inattentive acts. We do beach clean-up and do educational events on the beach. We ensure the safety and cleanliness of the sea and keep it user friendly. We work hand in hand with the Lifeguards. 

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural and Heritage Tourism Management obtained at the University of KwaZulu Natal,  field of study which focuses on various aspects of local culture and heritage and on the implications of their development as tourist attractions. The field draws on economics, art and craft, languages, architecture, history, human geography and other disciplines which are all centrally involved with the heritage industry and with tourism. I was sensitised to current debates in this field of study, where ‘heritage’ extends beyond historical sites and artefacts to include the environment and contemporary cultural practices. I dealt with the tourism industry as a whole. (3 year’s structured degree)
