I specialise in multitasking, I am extremely passionate, thorough, attentive, a fast learner, obsessed with things being done the right way the FIRST time, observant and dependable. Thus I’d always fulfill my duty within and beyond my scope of practice.

And it's these qualities that have not only made me one of the most flexible workers but also a key factor in the operation of our company.

I always strive for the best and never doubt when putting in a little more and going the extra mile.

I work in a retail Pharmacy and my role entails helping the pharmacist with day-to-day needs of running the pharmacy.

I specialise in multitasking and my obsession with getting the job done and doing it right from the beginning allows me to carry out a handful of tasks, and effortlessly so.

So more specifically, my role entails:

• Assisting daily with pharmacy activities.
• The processing of prescriptions from clients in person and over the phone.
• Packaging, labelling and dispensing medication.
• Measure and compound drugs according to prescriptions.
• Check inventory and restock drugs and other items on shelves and pharmacy consumables.
• Using a method called cycle counts to check for expired stock and keep track of stock on hand and in the instance of it having had expired, discarding thereof properly.
• I work on the cash register if need be.
• Write letters and memos, prepare receipts and invoices, and filing of orders, scripts and copy Rx’s.
• I advise within and beyond my scope to the best of my knowledge and won’t hesitate to ask the pharmacist for help or assistance where need be.

I am currently completing my final year a a Pharmacist Assistant and within the next 3 months I will be a Qualified Pharmacist Assistant (QPB)
