• Performing various tests independently and take full responsibility for safekeeping and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Verifying received results (also ensuring instrument verification) and interpret data against known source of information also adhering to GLPs that encompass recording of results as well as ensuring of safe use and disposal of material.
• Participating in PT/ILC.
•  Placing stock orders also participate in stocktaking activities pertinent to laboratory consumables while maintaining acceptable proficiency scores for work conducted.
• Guaranteeing that all analysis as well as other related tasks are executed in accordance with OHS regulations and Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures.
• Adhering to a 100% TAT.
• Overseeing overall EHS by ensuring that health and safety measures are maintained and implemented effectively.
• Note any deviations of health and safety issues that come to attention.
