• Enforcement of Security Regulation and Labour Act within the Security Industry.
• Conduct audit inspection to ensure compliance in the industry.
• Conduct forensic investigation in the security business.
• Interview witness obtain statements to compile dockets and attend to code of conduct enquiries as a witness and court of law to present and give expect evidence to prosecute and secure sentencing.
• Plan campaigns and Liaise with Department of Labour, Saps, PSSPF in enforcing and educating about Private Security Legislation.
• Represent the Authority in stakeholder’s multilateral engagements with the industry to improve compliance in the industry.
• Submit monthly statistics and report of the work done to the head office for annual report to the Minister of Safety and Security.
• Investigate tip – off complaints regarding irregularities within the security industry and register complaint to the complaint register.
• Present evidence in the court of Law regarding the case dockets opened with SAPS.
