Highly motivated and adaptable junior engineer passionate about mechanical design and continuous improvement manufacturing (Kaizen). I possess axial machine alignment, electric panel and machine guard manufacturing skills. I am familiar and have a working knowledge of measuring instruments, engineering tools and processes. Proficient in CAD (Inventor; Solidworks & AutoCAD), simulation tools (ANSYS) and Microsoft suite. Seeking and employment opportunity where I can exploit what I have learnt and applied during my education and career thus far. Willing to travel and relocate if necessary

I have approximately two-years experience using CAD (solidworks) in manufacturing environment. Solidworks has been part of my go-to tools since having been introduced to it in 2016. My solidworks experience includes Setting up global variables and equations using advanced sketch tools, creating planes and coordinate systems, using in context part in assembly space, setting up k-factors for given materials, creating forming tools and weldment profiles, using evaluation and toolbox parts etc. I possess intermediate workshop and basic machining training and have used these skills and tools such as measuring run-out using dial gauges on machine couplings, using thread and thickness gauges for cutting threads and using the vernier caliper for numerous measurements etc. I am adaptable and have used my function as junior draughtsman not only involves draughting but fulfilling other duties in parallel. Furthermore, I have managed out of necessity, broaden my scope of drawing skills by learning how to read, incorporate and adapt my engineering drawing skills to work with, As-built, HVAC/Electrical layout, shop, architectural as well as manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
