Melissa Schafers

I have worked as a Graphic Designer across retail, advertising, design, packaging,
publishing, and corporate environments and for companies such as FNB, Toyota,
and Touchpoint Retail Communication. With 20 years of experience in the design
field, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects — from
corporate identities, banners, and street pole ads to vehicle branding, annual
reports, and much more. I also have extensive experience in shopper
communication and POS design.

I completed a 3-year course at Vega in 2003 and acquired a degree in Creative
Brand Communications with a specialisation in Art Direction. Before graduating,
I completed my internship at Ogilvy & Mather. Over the years, I have honed my
skills as a below-the-line Graphic Designer and consider myself an expert in the
field — although I firmly believe that one must never stop learning and growing in
one’s career.
