Purpose of the Role: 

Lead a diverse and sizeable team of professionals organised around two pillars: Equipment Execution and Equipment Maintenance & Repair (EMR). 

Be responsible for driving service delivery and cost optimisation in the sphere of Equipment (Dry and Reefer) in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, serving multiple commercial functions, in a diverse stakeholder landscape. 

Lead and develop the team by providing Vision and Direction in line with the Global Flow Strategy and driving Customer Centricity within the Team.

Purpose: 

Managing Equipment teams across Africa, providing direction and vision ensuring that all Team members stay focused and are KPI driven. Mentoring and upskilling staff to drive performance whilst maintaining the Teams Motivation and Engagement to ensure they stay highly motivated to carry out their day-to-day functions. 

Improving our customer experience by having the right stock in the right place at the right time, and at the same ensuring this is done within the most cost-effective way.

Job Title: Trade Coordinator

DUTIES: 

Researching and evaluating new product opportunities, demand for potential products, and        customer needs and insights. Overall Trade marketing strategy and execution of budget plans for the existing products and services. Analysis and management of costs and revenues. Identify price erosion and assist in developing and implementing solutions. Together with the sales teams, ensure vessel capacity is maximized with highest possible revenue.

Job Title: Equipment steering & Export bookings team leader

DUTIES :  

Part of my main duties as the team leader was to provide direction and vision to ensure that all team members were focused and performing against KPI’s. I also mentored and up skilled the teams to ensure that overall teams objectives and targets were met. Day to day activities included equipment and contract management across South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Indian Ocean Islands.  Part of my responsibilities was to ensure that all strategies, budgets and policies were adhered to across internal and external operations within these regions and that all processes and quality management was implemented and monitored through monthly reporting.
