Experience

I have worked as a freelance makeup artist since June 2017 and have experience in various projects such as music videos, photo shoots, and fashion shows. I also specialize in bridal, fashion, catwalk makeup, high fashion, photographic makeup, and body painting. Additionally, they have created makeup special effects such as cuts, bruises, and scratches and assisted with hair styling for fashion shows.

Education

Education:

  • Completed a Bachelor of Arts first-year undergraduate program at Rhodes University, with subjects including Psychology, French, Anthropology, and Sociology.
  • Obtained a Tourism Certificate (N4, N5, N6) from Northlink College, with subjects including Hotel Reception, Tourist Destinations, Travel Office Procedures, Travel Services, Computer Practice, Tourism Communications, and Travel Destinations.
  • Obtained a certificate from The Makeup Issue, the course focused on the art of Makeup and Hairstyling for Television, Theater and Special Effects.

Trainings:

  • Completed an Introduction to Wine and the Winelands of South Africa course at Northlink College.
  • Received a Business Etiquette certificate from Northlink College.

Workshops:

  • Completed a course in the art of Makeup for celebrity makeup at The Ultimate Show Styled by Hrush, Johannesburg.
  • Obtained a Digital Journalist Certificate from Media 24 after completing a course in digital journalism at Florida Secondary Senior High School.
