Kyle Zotti

My passion for motorsports and cars was the initial driving force behind my love for film, as my knowledge relating to the subject allowed me to grow the skills needed to create well-rounded, in-depth videos.

My focus is video editing while also having experience in videography. I pride myself in doing the best job possible and totally apply myself to the task at hand, with a keen eye for detail, I ensuring each video is unique and strategically planned for customer satisfaction. As a result, all my projects have a distinctive “je ne sais quoi” about them, regardless of the topic.

I also have experience in team management, focusing on systems development and team cohesion. I am passionate and have an eager attitude to learn as much as I need to improve my craft. I am easy to get along with and am courteous of others and their beliefs/opinions. I am versatile, as a project leader, team player or standalone editor/videographer, with the ability to switch between roles when necessary.

Even though I never got the chance to get a tertiary education, over the last ten years I have been learning and seizing every opportunity to grow and polish my video editing skills. Through each opportunity my work has spoken for itself and opened doors to work for some of South Africa’s most respected automotive companies, such as VW, Peugeot and Mitsubishi.
I also have broadcast experience having been a part of the editing team for a talk show called Unpacked, which aired on a local channel called SABC 3, and am currently the editor for an insert on another local channel (News24) called This Day in History.

I left my previous position due to the lack of salary during the height of the COVID period. All I am looking for is a position where I can grow and utilise my skillset with job security.

I am a self taught Video Editor and Videographer with most of my skill-set coming from learning by doing while filling in the gaps with short online courses.
