My name is Jamie Leigh Fowkes

I am 24 years old

I completed an Internship through ORT SA CAPE EDUCATION in 2022 at Zwaanswyk Academy which I started in 2021, after completing my internship I was given an opportunity to complete my learnship of 18 months from 2022 to 2023 which I then completed at Herzlia Kerem Pre Primary School in Constantia

I recently completed my Level 4 ECD Qualication at ORT SA CAPE EDUCATION and now I am looking to expand my experiences in the working world. In my time at ORT SA CAPE EDUCATION I obtained my Lego Play Box Level 1 certificate and Paediatric First Aid Certificate 

I am passionate about working with children of all ages as well as getting to know new people.

I obtained my professional experience while working for JLC Home projects when completing admin work and then proceeding to Zwaanswyk Academy where i was given the opportunity to interact with children,teachers as well as parents and the broader school staff which not only gave me professional experience but allowed me to become more confident about myself and my surroundings which i then used when i worked at Herzlia Kerem 

ORT SA CAPE EDUCATION gave me the opportunity and education through their amazing patience, love and support. At ORT SA CAPE EDUCATION I learnt about the importance of a child's education and the importance of community as well as the major role each and everyone plays in ones life on a daily basis
