About Jason Grobler:

Experienced video editor and enthusiast. Skilled in emotional expression and timing with motion picture, graphics and sound which works independently with a sensitive approach to the overall vision brief - flexible in interpretation and receptive. Two video editing awards. One local short film and an international runner-up commercial plus a few popular recognised titles. Broad software and hardware experience and occupational work experience with intermediate and end-user codecs and video editing interface toolsets. Have a strong work ethic, reliable, honest, insightful, resilient, and determined having acquired self-initiative life experience and autonomy of vision.

Experience

My overall experience from the recent past allows me to see and be involved in a video production from the conceptual stages; capture, to broadcast: online, having also experience with encoding to organising SLR reels, graphic design experience with alpha channels, capture and coordination experience and archival and database management experience, along with experience with recent formats as HEVC and XAVC, as well as high optic intermediary formats after interning at Searle Street Post Production and the SA Film Academy. 

Education

Interned at Searle Street Post Production, the SA Film Academy and am a professionally accredited Video editor through the South African Guild of Editors (SAGE).
