To whom it may concern,

I am writing this letter because I am interested in the position as an ESL ONLINE teacher that you advertised. I have a total of 7 years teaching experience of which 2 were spent as an English trainer working with learners aged between 3-18 for one of the biggest language companies in China and 5 of which were spent at a Kindergarten as a full-time homeroom teacher for students aged between 3 and 6.

I have recently completed my teacher preparation program from Moreland University and have a TEFL/TOEFL certificate which I completed in 2014. 

I’m sure there are great teachers who will apply for this position, but I can only give reasons as to why you should strongly consider my application. I have  7 years of experience and I am quite familiar with young learner’s education and language development. I can anticipate problems that ESL learners might face in language acquisition and learning, and I have a variety of teaching strategies that I can use in an online classroom. In addition to this, my experience has also taught me things to avoid as a teacher when working with young learners and positive ways of correcting learners and managing a classroom. Furthermore, I strongly believe that all students have their own unique ways of learning and their own individual learning needs and it is up to teachers to get to know those needs and facilitate lessons that will cater to each learners individual needs.
