Educational psychology intern looking for employment from January 2024 

I am a 26-year old female currently completing my Educational Psychology internship at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy. Over the years and during my educational period, I have worked in a variety of contexts and with diverse individuals. I learned the importance of flexibility and adaptability when working in a multicultural context like South Africa. These experiences have provided me with training on the assessments of emotional challenges, learning barriers and career related challenges. In addition, I have been trained in various therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Psychoanalysis, Solution Focused Therapy and Gestalt etc. depending on a client’s needs. I have developed my emotional intelligence and acquired self-awareness, leadership, problem-solving and communication skills necessary for work in the broad field of Psychology and working in multidisciplinary contexts. I am able to work well on my own initiatives and can demonstrate the high levels of motivations required to meet the tightest of deadlines. I have always aspired to make an impact while making a living and I am thus passionate about development holistically- academically, emotionally and socially and identifying any barriers thereof in order to provide the necessary tools and individually tailored interventions
