    Description

    RPO Recruitment's client, a leading construction company based in Pretoria, is seeking a Professional Civil Tech Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on a variety of construction projects and contribute to the company's success.

    In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the design and preparation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and construction standards
    • Supervise construction activities and provide technical guidance to contractors and construction teams
    • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure project deadlines are met
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and practices

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
