    PURPOSE OF THE JOB: In this role, as a Marketing and Sales Intern at Giesecke and Devrient (G+D), you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and presale teams. Your responsibilities will include administrative tasks, assisting with sales and marketing campaigns, and contributing to business growth_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES): The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the sales and marketing teams.Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare documents and presentations.Keep records organized and up-to-date.Take accurate and timeous meeting minutes.Manage Sales Force/Forecast accuracy for existing and new orders, together with Client Services Department
  • Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.Participate in marketing initiatives.Manage social media platforms.Contribute to content creation.
  • Sales: Collaborate with the sales team on lead generation.Conduct customer research and market analysis.Support in interrupting and analysing research.Help maintain client relationships.
  • Innovation: Bring innovative solutions and ideas to ensure continues improvement
  • Illustrate curiosity in new trends
  • MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree or Post Qualification in Business Management, Marketing/Sales and/or related field.
  • PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 1 years proven experience in Sales environment.
  • Be a "hunter" – actively seek out opportunities and identify potential business prospects.
  • Propose improvement suggestions based on weaknesses observed.
  • Strong self-motivation and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Resilience in handling rejection.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
