SERVICE TECHNICIAN (OFFICE AUTOMATION) is required for permanent employment based in Newcastle. Install, repair and service company equipment in the field. Logistical and methodical approach to fault-finding. Strong troubleshooting skills. Complete preventative maintenance in line with company standards. Reporting to the Service Supervisor of problems, work commitments, technical and customer requirements etc. Assist company engineers in the field. Work related travel to client sites etc. Installation of new equipment, respond to service requests, troubleshoot equipment issues, technical training. Physically fit and able to work with heavy OA equipment. NON-NEGOTIABLE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 /N3/ NQF 4. Position related Tertiary qualification (adv). Min 3 years office automation experience. Repair, installation and networking experience. Ability to set up printing and scanning (to folder and email). Ability to interpret service manuals, parts manuals and technical diagrams. . Valid drivers licence. + Position based in Newcastle, local residency required.
