    Description

    The ideal candidate will be focusing on these areas:

    Key performance areas for this position will include the following:

    ● To call on customers according to a predetermined visiting schedule.

    ● To travel long distance & visit customers outside of Gauteng in neighbouring provinces.

    ● To provide quotations to customers.

    ● To process all orders received.

    ● To liaise with the Factory Planner for special orders required.

    ● Deliver credit notes, invoices, etc.

    ● Assist with monthly stock take where required.

    ● Assisting Dispatch with deliveries if required.

    ● To make sure that customers are provided with market related prices.

    ● To visit and keep good relationships with customers.

    ● To correspond with the Dispatch clerk in expediting deliveries of customer orders.

    ● Obtain monthly market intelligence.

    Experience and Skills

    A minimum of 2 years external sales experience preferably in the Cable industry would be

    advantageous.

    ● Grade 12 matric qualification.

    ● A relevant tertiary education will be an added advantage.

    ● Strong communication and writing skills.

    ● Excellent observation and analytical abilities.

    ● Good negotiation skills.

    ● A valid Code 08 driver's license.

    ● Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and Syspro system are essential.
