Job Description

About the Role:

The Junior Business Development Executive is responsible for winning new business and managing the accounts of SME clients in the UK market. You will work on the entire sales process from prospecting clients, selling our suite of online recruitment products through to client on-boarding and management of the account.

Responsibilities/ Outcomes

Position Totaljobs Group as a strategic and trusted partner and build strong relationships with key stakeholders from SME clients.

Gain a thorough understanding of SME clients' current and future needs and their strategy and prepare customized solutions.

Keep abreast of industry and market trends to offer insights and expertise to our SME clients.

Be responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting, building, and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business prospects through to client on-boarding.

Create compelling proposals that communicate our value and deliver to the client's strategy and requirements.

Proactively generate new leads from client referrals and networking as well as acting on leads generated by our marketing activities.

Generate, negotiate, and close new business opportunities with SME clients.

Ensure that sales targets are met on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis through developing existing client relationships whilst also growing and converting a pipeline of new business.

Qualifications

Previous new business sales experience in Micro SME Sector.

Consistent track record of working within a target driven environment and achieving these targets consistently.

Evidence of delivering a high work-rate within sales (e.g., evidence of a high number of cold-calls made)

Demonstrable experience of resilience; the ability to bounce back after multiple rejections from clients.

Basic computer skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A strong listener, presenter, and a people-person.

Self-motivated and self-directed.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Goal-orientated, organized team player.

Confident, proactive, lots of initiative and great attention to detail.

Ability to review and develop one's competencies.

Able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions, with support.

Desirable :

B2B sales experience, ideally within a comparable industry sector.

A good understanding of the sales process, with strong negotiation and objection handling skills.

Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)

Encouraging to team and staff.

KPI's

Revenue performance against target (monthly, quarterly & annually)

Client numbers target

Performance against set KPIs (i.e., calls, activities, meetings)
