    Description

    We are recruiting QA Engineers based in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The role of the QA Engineer will be to Independently design, develop and enhance test automation scripts/framework. The incumbent will need to conduct the relevant root cause analysis and collaborate with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions suitable for the Client.

    • Experience in Developing Automation framework.
    • Experience within an Agile/Scrum/ Kanban environment.
    • Experience with Jira and confluence.
    • Experience in API testing (Prefer Karate / Rest Assured).
    • Experience in Appium/ Selenium/ Flutter integration testing.
    • Strong Experience in Java/ JS/ Phyton.
    • Experience in BDD.
    • Good knowledge of automated testing processes, methodologies and software development lifecycles, and good knowledge on data Structures and algorithms.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Digital Retail Banking Experience Responsibilities include:

    • Work closely with a team to ensure script implementation comply with best practices and testability requirements.
    • Work closely with software developers and test engineers to understand software workflows. use cases and specifications in creating automated tests across the application.
    • Expand automation framework to provide additional test capabilities.
    • Analyse existing systems to find areas for improvement.
    • Actively participate in an agile development process.

    Key skills:

    • Experience with API/Services Automated Test Frameworks.
    • Knowledge on Test Data Management.
    • Knowledge with Test Reporting Frameworks.
    • Device level testing experience.

    Process Skills:

    • General SDLC processes.
    • Able to operate in Agile environment.
