    Description
    In the courtesy clerk role, you will address customer inquiries. Therefore, maintaining knowledge of products and their respective aisles is expected.

    A key element of this role is to keep a checklist of tasks and duties and ensure that all responsibilities are covered.

    Success in this role will be demonstrated by enhancing customer experience to encourage repeat business.

    Courtesy Clerk Job Responsibilities and DutiesCleans the supermarket, restrooms, and parking lotChecks and restocks suppliesAnswers customer inquiriesSeparates and bags the grocery itemsMaintains product and location knowledgeReturns pushcarts to designated areaAssists customers with bringing groceries to their vehiclesCourtesy Clerk Job RequirementsAt least 18 years oldHigh school diplomaFriendly and outgoingExcellent communication skillsOrganizedPossesses strong reading comprehension skills and has the ability to competently follow instructions.

    Demonstrates good problem solving skills and is able to multi-task effectively.
    Has knowledge of safe food handling procedures.
    Pays attention to detail and has good listening skills.
    Uses various types of equipment to handle merchandise.
    Learns and remembers company policies for interacting with customers in various scenarios.
