If you are a junior to intermediate customer-centric, extroverted, outgoing Sales Consultant / Business Development Consultant, with primary experience in Sales and Marketing but your curiosity extends beyond that - then our client has the perfect the opportunity for you Our client is looking for a customer-focused individual to join their revenue team.

This role focuses on fostering growth and cultivating robust client relationships to enhance retention and drive revenue expansion.

You will take full ownership of the designated portfolio/area, overseeing all aspects of sales, marketing, events, administration, and client servicing.

They are looking for someone to run their portfolio as a business, who is not afraid of a challenge, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for creating a payment lifestyle for users in allocated areas, by getting new merchants on board, creating hubs, and increasing package sales for existing merchants.
  • Responsible for increasing transactions with existing clients through strategic marketing of the company products and tiered product hierarchy offerings.
  • To generate new business leads in a designated area and ensure potential leads are followed up within 48 hours.
  • Thorough understanding of product offering to manage the tiering product hierarchy in terms of clients' needs.
  • Ensure marketing merchandise is correctly, neatly displayed, and always replenished through timeous merchant visits.
  • To ensure the client is always updated and aware of new marketing tools and valueadded services.
  • To be aware and participate in interactive marketing at client establishments (consumer feedback, photographs, special events, competitions).
  • Liaise directly with the Marketing Team on a consistent basis.
  • Be aware of events happening in allocated and surrounding areas to partner in promoting the brand.
  • Consistent marketing of the benefits to upgrade/upsell merchant plans, increasing transactions and merchants' tribes.
  • Innovative ideas on marketing strategies specific to client to be presented quarterly.
  • Monthly Quick Capital signups, Value Added Sales, new business development and new client activation.
  • Build and maintain client/customer relationships.
  • Maintain knowledge of product releases/services to clients.
  • Analyse data to align with marketing and sales strategies.

Qualifications:


  • Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations.
  • Qualification in Business Management or Business Administration is preferable.
  • 25 Years of experience as a Sales Consultant/Customer Success Consultant, Marketing consultant.
  • Fintech experience is preferable.
  • Strong business acumen skills.
  • Experience with the Payment products.
  • Ability to interact with Merchants.
  • Retail and/or hospitality experience is preferable.
  • Knowledge and familiarity of the surrounding areas retail/business offerings.
  • Ability to work remotely.
