Senior IT Technician

About Us:


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain the hotel's IT systems, including network infrastructure, servers, and workstations.
  • Provide technical support to staff members and guests, resolving issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard data and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure IT equipment and services.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Senior IT Technician
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware components, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud computing platforms.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
  • Familiarity with IT security, Cyber Security best practices and compliance standards (PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) are a plus.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
