Overview:

An aritisinal baking company in Blackheath, Western Cape is looking for factory workers to work in our production department.

Day and Night shifts are available.


Reporting to Team Leaders, responsibilities are varied and will include:

  • Mixing and baking a high-volume range of quality products
  • Baking a range of delicious artisanal products
  • Operating depositing equipment on the line (includes set up and maintaining temperature and weight of the product)
  • Packing finished product
  • Completing paperwork for Quality Department
  • Maintaining a safe and clean workplace
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have the following skills:

  • Completed Matric (Grade 12/NQF 4) or equivalent.
  • Proficient in English reading and writing.
  • Must have numerical skills basic mathematical ability.
  • Previous experience working in an industrial food production environment, ideally using commercial ovens or an automated baking line would be preferential.
  • A bakery background is advantageous, or perhaps you have completed a Certificate in Food Processing.
  • Good understanding of GMP and Food Safety
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable doing accurate paperwork.
  • Reliable, committed, and honest.
  • Always on time for work with reliable transportation
  • Strong comprehension and communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Clear Criminal Record
  • Lives close to
  • Blackheath/Kuilsriver area.
