SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR IN THE INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY SERVICES DIVISION

(Grade 12)

Purpose

Requirements:

A relevant NQF level 6 Diploma plus approximately 4 years' relevant experience where such experience includes:

At least a years' in an environment with a network of similar complexity/scale to Rhodes (e.g. an ISP with a large number of customers, or a large corporate or school network)
Some experience or exposure in an opensource, community networking or similar project
Some evidence of professional development in this field
Formal certification (particularly at a higher level) in any of the operating systems, network infrastructure, etc. used by Rhodes will be an advantage
