    Description

    Our client, a leading innovator in the chemical manufacturing industry with a focus on developing high-performance adhesives, is currently seeking a skilled Chemist to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in adhesive technologies and chemical processing, who is passionate about product development and innovation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the formulation and development of new adhesive products and enhance the performance of existing products.
    • Conduct rigorous testing and analysis to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality control, to scale up production processes from lab to manufacturing scale.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex chemical processing issues.
    • Maintain accurate records of formulations, tests, and trials in accordance with regulatory requirements.
    • Stay abreast of technological advancements and competitive trends in the adhesive industry to drive continuous improvement.
    • Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and customers.

    Key Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
    • Proficiency in chemical analysis and testing techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, etc.
    • Knowledge of chemical safety and handling procedures.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
    • Innovative thinking with a focus on developing practical solutions to complex problems.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or PhD is preferred.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a chemist role, specifically within the adhesive or chemical processing industry.
    • Demonstrated experience in adhesive formulation and product development.
    • Familiarity with regulatory standards and certifications relevant to the chemical and adhesive industry.
    • Proficient in using laboratory software and equipment.
