Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a systematic approach for ink formulation, ensuring consistent quality and performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of ink properties including adhesion, durability, colour, rheology, and cure speed.
  • Work closely with raw material suppliers to stay abreast of the latest technologies and innovations.
  • Maintain detailed records of ink formulations, testing results, and production procedures.
  • Prepare technical data sheets, safety datasheets, and other necessary documentation.
  • Assist in the scaleup of ink formulations from lab scale to production.
  • Troubleshoot production issues related to ink formulation.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to UV inks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in ink formulation processes.
  • Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, or related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in UV ink formulation. Indepth understanding of pigment dispersions, polymer chemistry and UV curing mechanisms. Handson experience with laboratory equipment relevant to ink formulation and testing.

  • Strong problemsolving skills and analytical thinking. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a crossfunctional team.
