- Troubleshoot technical issues and solve problems quickly to ensure business operations run smoothly
- Install & update all new technology for the company including software, hardware and other systems used internally and externally as and when needed

- Onboarding: Administer new user accounts and manage access to ensure our Raccoons have everything they need to work efficiently
- Train users to work with new computer hardware or software and on cybersecurity
- Set up or repair computer equipment and related devices
- Make data easily accessible to those who need it
- Document changes, revisions and problems (air table)
- Provide other team members and managers with information related to IT matters
- Running security checks on all of our systems to ensure we are protected from cybersecurity threats

- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Specialist
- Extensive experience managing and configuring 3CX
- Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, servers and networks
- Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users
- Proficiency in IT helpdesk software (fresh desk)
- Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
- Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment with your finger on the pulse

The hotel industry is at the very heart of the RoomRaccoon story.
Our Founder, Nadja Buckenberger, faced many challenges when she opened the doors of the Bliss Boutique Hotel in Breda in 2014.
She couldn't find a single affordable solution to manage all aspects of her property. That's when she decided to join forces with her partner, tech entrepreneur Tymen van Dyl to create one that could.
In 2016, Tymen began building software that would solve Nadja's three central pain points by combining a Property Management System (PMS) with a channel manager and booking engine – a technological feat
The software worked wonders for the Bliss Hotel and piqued the interest of other regional hotels.
We officially launched in January 2017, and six months later, we had over 100 hotels on board. Today, RoomRaccoon is the world's most complete HMS for independent accommodations with 10 – 100 rooms.
