Job Summary:
Our client is a well-established Real Estate Investor with a head office based in Johannesburg North.

Priding themselves on their retail expertise they own, manage, and lease double-digit shopping centres throughout Gauteng, they also manage over sqm of property assets on behalf of third-party clients which are collectively valued over a billion.

With their focus on purchasing dilapidated buildings and adding value allows them to rapidly grow and expand locally. They intend to take the international market by storm, sooner rather than later. As such, they are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager.


The successful incumbent will have 2 Debtors Administrators reporting to them while they report directly to the Head of Property Management.

A small but hard-working team, you will fit in by being responsible for ensuring accurate billing and timeous collection of property rentals and utilities for 12 retail centres.

This includes but is not limited to ensuring billing is run on time, maintaining data quality of payment allocations, tenant accounts, etc.

Additionally, you will be tasked with ensuring all processes are followed accurately, checking meter reading reports, ensuring that rates charges are raised, preparing levy schedules, reconciling and processing adjustment accounts, as well as keeping track of all Debtors' documentation.


The successful incumbent will have a matric certificate, a Finance, Accounting, or Business tertiary qualification, and a minimum of 3 years in a similar Accounts Receivable role.

Proven ability to manage a team, strong administrative and organisational skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills will be needed to succeed in this role.

You will need to have experience in the retail property sector and the ability to pay attention to detail to secure.
