    Description

    Our client within the Fruit Industry is looking for a Junior Product Coordinator to join their Fruit Export Team. Experience within the Fruit / FMCG industry will be beneficial.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate availability and packing of products
    • Ensure effective communication to relevant parties
    • Responsible for administration related to farmers and product
    • Quality inspections on product
    • Physical stock takes in cold-rooms and matching thereof on system
    • Coordinate packaging materials
    • Ensure professional and effective relationships with suppliers and farmers
    • Provide assistance to other Product Coordinators


    REQUIREMENTS

    • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
    • Computer literate, with Microsoft Office
    • Must be proficient in handling data and working with systems
    • Previous work experience within the fruit industry will be beneficial
    • Technical knowledge on grape and/ or stone fruit will be advantageous
    • Ability to build strong relationships
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Problem solver (able to resolve queries quick and efficient)
    • Must be able to manage time effectively and prioritize well
    • Work well under pressure
    • Willingness to learn and go the extra mile

    SALARY

    Negotiable depending on experience
