  • The main purpose of this position is to perform multiple repair and maintenance tasks throughout the day, as allocated through the Helpdesk or Operations Manager.
  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • Matric
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
- strong technical ability - plumbing, carpentry, electricals etc.


DUTIES:

General Maintenance:

  • Performs all repairs and maintenance (painting, cleaning, waterproofing, irrigation, replacement of globes & tubes, small plumbing work, door & lock repairs, cleaning of gutters and full bores, etc.) as requested by the Operations Manager. Identify maintenance requirement whilst doing inspections on site.
  • Observes entire property daily and reports leaks, breakages and nonfunctioning parts to the Operations Manager.
  • Responds to complaints received from any tenant and advise the Operations Manager.
  • Completed checklists on a daily basis.

Customer Service:

  • Ensures availability to Property Management team as well as existing and new tenants.
  • Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders both internal (property management) and external (tenants, service providers)
  • Communicates all defects timeously to Operations Manager

Centre Night and Weekend duties:

  • Responsible for night and weekend duties as agreed with General Manager and Operations Manager.

Risk Management:

  • Ensures compliance with relevant Acts.
  • Controls, manages and governs the processes and systems within area of accountability to ensure compliance and minimise the business risk.
  • Implements all audit recommendations in area of accountability and resolve audit findings timeously
  • Design, approval, implement and maintenance of policies within area of responsibility.
