How you'll role

As a Draughtsman in the HVAC industry, your primary responsibilities will include producing design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP. These drawings must adhere to the company's standards and meet drawing office requirements. Your role also involves collaborating closely with team leaders, project managers, and external clients to ensure the successful execution of HVAC projects.

What you'll do

Produce design drawings, shop drawings and as-built drawings for HVAC systems on AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP

Produce and maintain drawing registers, schedules and track administrative processes on projects

Collaborate with team leaders, project managers as well as external clients

What you'll need

3 years' work experience with the main function being that of drafting and/or design including HVAC systems

A formal qualification from a recognised tertiary institute in drafting or design

To be proficient in AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP

Ability to design HVAC Systems

Ability to perform heat load calculations

Familiar with the format and requirements of Council submission drawings and SANS 10400-O Codes

Capable of selecting general equipment such as air-conditioning systems, fans and diffusion excluding Chilled Water Systems

To be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

A valid driver's licence
