Job requirements:

Relevant Draughting Qualification
Three to six years' experience in a relatable engineering environment (eg. design and manufacturing)
Sound understanding of 3D CAD packages, in particular SolidWorks
Excellent level of English, both written and verbal;
Knowledge of SolidWorks PDM, would be advantageous;
Sound understanding of fabrication, boiler making/welding, precision machining;
Good organizational, planning & time management skills;
Practical thinker, mechanically minded and good problem solver.

Job responsibilities:

Complete training as required;
Shadow applicable Engineers, in order to gain a fundamental understanding of the tooling and equipment used;
Work alongside the current engineering team assisting with design & manufacture requests for specialized tooling and equipment;
Generate fitformfunction based Concept and Detail Designs comprising of 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks;
Generate manufacturing data packs (incl. BOM's, QCP's and Works Instructions);
Oversee the Manufacture of tooling and equipment from inception through to delivery; ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

This will include, but will not be limited to:
quotation, project execution, procurement, logistics, resource planning, scheduling, reporting, databook generation, oversight, supplier/vendor management, quality control and project closeout;
