Description

The Implementation Specialist role involves end-to-end system commissioning based on clients' business requirements, which includes configuration, deployment, integration, and testing of the clients' licensed software solutions.

Implementation Specialists ensure that the licensed software systems meet the client's technical and business needs. They customise and implement the software according to the client's requirements and train the client in using the software.


The role entails building and maintaining professional relationships with Traderoot clients, so the Implementation Specialist needs to have good communication and problem-solving skills.

They also need good teamwork skills because they are required to escalate product issues for resolution within the department and interdepartmentally.


Primary responsibilities

  • Commission and install software into SIT, UAT and Production environments.
  • Configure systems to comply with functional requirements documentation.
  • Create clear and attainable delivery objectives, and manage constraints and stakeholder expectations.
  • Compile implementation documentation and implementation plans.
  • Perform system integrations with clients and thirdparty suppliers.
  • Manage technical configuration of the entire solution.
  • Stay up to date with TEP software updates, changes and releases.
  • Conduct research to gain technical understanding of projects where necessary.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements to products and systems.
  • Escalate issues to appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical client support when and where required.
  • Contribute to training documentation and participate in client training.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

1.
Implementation Specialist
Average time taken to commission and install software in SIT, UAT and Production environments.

Percentage of projects delivered within the agreed timeline.

Number of successful system integrations with clients and third-party suppliers.

Configuration and compliance
Accuracy of system configuration based on functional requirements documentation.

Number of configuration errors or discrepancies identified and resolved.

Compliance with implementation documentation and plans.


3.
Stakeholder management
Level of satisfaction of stakeholders, measured through feedback surveys or ratings.

Timeliness and effectiveness of managing stakeholder expectations.

Number of escalated issues and their resolution within defined timeframes.


4.
Technical expertise
Knowledge of TEP software updates, changes and releases demonstrated through regular training and certification.

Ability to provide technical client support and effectively resolve technical issues.

Number of recommendations provided for product and system improvements.


5.
Documentation and training
Quality and completeness of implementation documentation and plans.

Contribution to training documentation and materials.

Participation in client training sessions and feedback from clients on training effectiveness.


6.
Problem-solving and communication
Ability to identify and resolve technical issues independently and efficiently.

Communication effectiveness with clients, internal teams and external stakeholders.

Proactive contribution to problem-solving and sharing technical knowledge within the team.


Salary:
R15, R18,000.00 per month
