    Description

    Medical Claims and Debtor Administrator, Benoni

    An accident and emergency facility in Benoni is looking for a claims and debtor administrator.

    Responsibilities:

    • Medical aid, COID, RMS and FMA account billing and submission
    • Allocate medical aid payments to accounts on the clients system
    • Reconcile medical aid payments to amounts reflected on bank statement
    • Attend to the age analysis
    • Quality control
    • Monitor shift reports, quality check billing sheets and codes on receipts to determine correct billing
    • Follow up on outstanding billing
    • Act as case officer for patients with outstanding accounts
    • Stepping in as relief for front reception should that be required

    Qualification:

    • Matric
    • Previous billing experience in a medical practice / hospital is required

    Skills and attributes:

    • Deliver a high standard of patient service with integrity
    • High work ethic
    • Empathetic nature
    • Excellent administrative skills
    • Problem solver
    • Eye for details and accuracy
    • Good at multitasking
    • Good computer literacy. Must have Microsoft office experience
    • Experience with MedEdi is an advantage

    Working hours:

    08h00 to 16h30. Possibility of 2 days on and 2 days off, and alternating weekends including Fridays.
