    JOB OPPORTUNITY: OVERHEAD TRACK EQUIPMENT ERECTORS

    AREA: PRETORIA; GAUTENG

    SUMMARY:

    Rendering the skillful and quality installation, adjustment, repair and maintenance of Electrical Overhead Track structures and related functions in compliance with Health and Safety and related legislation.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Grade 12
    • 2 years' experience in the rail sector
    • C-Green
    • Working at heights
    • First Aid
    • Fire Fighting
    • Completed Basic training in hand tools

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The Erector's duties and responsibilities may vary and be reviewed from time to time given the Company's operational requirements and shall include the following, but not limited thereto.
    • Basic knowledge of plant, equipment and materials used for construction activities.
    • Good knowledge of the companies H&S protocols to ensure safe execution of the works.
    • Installation and adjustment of Electrical Overhead Track structures.
    • Experience in repair and maintenance of Electrical Overhead Track structures.
