Our client is seeking a dedicated and trustworthy Senior Store Assistant to join their team, based in Butterworth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store, including customer service, administration, and inventory management. Fluent in both English and isiXhosa is advantageous. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional organizational and leadership skills.

Minimum Requirements:-

• Previous experience as a Supervisor or Manager, preferably in a similar Retail environment
• Valid driver's license and own transport
• Excellent communication skills in English / isiXhosa is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Positive attitude and ability to motivate a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software

Duties:-

• Oversee daily operations of the store and ensure smooth functioning at all times
• Manage customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
• Maintain a neat and well-stocked store environment, ensuring products are displayed attractively
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to replenish stock
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as Health and Safety regulations
• Supervise and motivate store staff to achieve performance targets and provide excellent customer service.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting
• Utilize computer skills to manage store records and generate reports using software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Canva
• Drive sales and implement strategies to increase store profitability
