Job Purpose
The core purpose of the position is to:
- To ensure the accuracy of the overall inventory management to our internal and external customers in an accurate, efficient and pro-active manner in accordance to company policies and procedures.
- To compile relevant, useful and accurate reports to our internal and external customers in real time based on the data provided by the stock controllers.
- To ensure the accuracy of the input of records of all stock movements constantly in adherence to company policies and procedures.
- To assist the stock controllers with their tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Overall Inventory Management (40%)
- Ensure all stock is captured in the asset register upon delivery
- Ensure that Issuing and receiving of functional stock has been done in accordance with process.
- Review Asset disposal list in accordance with process and sign off as first point of contact before sending to the procurement supervisor.
- Ensure that stock controllers submit stock take results by due date on a monthly basis and query any discrepancies to resolve.
- Ensure spot check is done to check asset register has been updated with every stock movement.
- Provide forward planning and management of stock levels
- Oversee Bi-Annual stock take of Stowe stock.
- Capture daily movements of maintenance stock in the asset register.
- Issue and take receipt of working stock to engineers.
- Ensure that weekly bakkie checks and stock takes are done.
- Update engineer warehouses immediately.
- Communicate bakkie check results to engineering department.
- Process deduction forms as and when required.
- Ensuring accurate levels of consumables are in stock.
- Ensure that stock controllers are capturing all movements.
- Review consumables recon.
Project Stock (20%)
- Ensure stock controllers have captured all new project stock upon receipt.
- Compile list of any new warehouses required and create with uniformity.
- Ensure all completed checklists are returned on time.
- Daily movements to be made on asset register once signed checklist is received from site.
- Ensure that stock controllers issue stock for prep in a timely manner if shipment needs to go to the regions.
- Ensure that physical monthly stock takes on project stock are carried out on time and any discrepancies are investigated.
- Upon completion of the project confirm with client if stock can be made available as maintenance stock and update the system accordingly.
- Attend weekly projects meeting and delegate team member to assist based on availability.
Reporting (15%)
- To collate the stock level reports provided by the stock controllers and address any issues or queries to ensure accuracy before sending to the procurement supervisor.
- To collate the recons of consumables and to address any issues or queries to ensure accuracy before sending to the procurement supervisor.
- To collate the mínimal and optimal stock level reports and address any issues or queries to ensure accuracy.
- To compile a recommendation report for stock levels and send to the procurement supervisor.
- To collate the movement reports provided by the stock controllers and address any issues or queries to ensure accuracy before sending to the procurement supervisor.
- To collate the bakkie check reports and generate a trend report to be sent to the procurement manager.
Staff Management (5%)
- Ensure that staff adhere to process
- Ensure that staff comply with deadlines.
- Ensure that staff have your assistance when it is required.
- First point of escalation for staff.
- Attend weekly meeting with Procurement supervisor to raise any items that require attention.
HSSE, Policies and procedures (10%)
- Ensure that you are up to date with all company policies and procedures and comply.
- Ensure that you are up to date with all HHSE requirement and comply.

Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Stock Control or Inventory Management Diploma.
- Staff Management Experience
- Driver's License
- Valid South African ID
- No criminal record
Job Types:

Salary:
R10, R11,500.00 per month
