Inherent requirements:

  • Diploma in Internal Auditing
  • ISO 9001 and ISO 45001: Occupational Health and Safety Certified
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an internal auditor
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in an ISO environment
  • Good communications skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Valid driver's license with own reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to travel and spending night(s) away from home

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare audit programme for planned audits, for approval by the Management
  • Roll out the audit programme and on a timely basis
  • Present and resolve audit findings (results) to / with Process Owners and escalate to Management if need be
  • Timely production and presentation of audit and nonconformance (NC) Reports to Process Owners and Management
  • Follow up on corrective actions taken to close NC's identified during audits and closing same
  • Identify best practices within the different operational areas to implement throughout the Training Force
  • Ensure all professional documentation is current and in order
  • Maintain development and implementation of ISO 9001 Management System
  • Understand all Group Policies and Procedures to:o Provide support to staff on them o Integrate into Training Force's needs o Use all systems available to Training Force to their fullest to achieve efficient and costeffective objectives for Training Force
  • Undertake other related duties as directed by the Supervisor
  • Ensure that the current policies are displayed at all areas of the operation
  • Assist the Business Unit Manager to set up annual SHEQ targets and objectives for each Business Unit
  • Develop basic training material to improve safety performance around drill rigs and other work spaces
  • Advise field line management on adherence to SSD legislation and relevant reporting
